M&A's new HQ, offices and workshops were officially opened on 4th November 2009 by Scarlets Rugby Commercial Director and Wales international Rupert Moon. The building stands on a future-proof two-acre site at Thornton, Milford Haven and incorporates a suite of offices, large workshop and design facilities.
Cutting the ribbon across the reception doors to the impressive new building, Rupert commented, "This is a great day for Pembrokeshire and for Wales. M&A Engineering is one of Wales' best and a world leader in its field."
Local MP Stephen Crabb also visited the new site and was more than impressed with M&A's investment in the county. "It's great to see a skills-based engineering company investing in its market and in Pembrokeshire, M&A is a real Welsh success story." The company has injected almost £1.5m into the new premises and facilities. Pembrokeshire County Council's chairman, Anne Hughes, echoed these sentiments during her visit to M&A.

The future has been very much a feature of the building plans, the offices alone will be able to take a three-fold expansion in personnel and turnover, whilst the ground space is ready for phase two of the workshop development, which will double its size. A large, open plan engineering and design office is complemented with a complex of rooms and offices behind an impressive reception area, all over 425 square metres, whilst 409 square metres of workshop houses lathes, machining centres, a balancing machine and a 10-tonne crane as well as the in-house designed and produced machines used in the field. A separate measurement and calibration room is temperature controlled and all kitchen, washing and rest areas are duplicated to allow workshop staff their own environment close to the workshop.

Commenting on the future prospects for the company, Jon Mortimer is quietly confident, "Our customers have put us here and we've responded by investing in them. Providing Pembrokeshire business and our worldwide customer base continues to support us, we can keep growing and offering the best quality with the best value".
